48 Hour Record-Breaking Concert
On Sept. 10, 2011, Kipp McLeod will attempt to set a new world record for the longest concert by a solo performer at Divino's Restaurant at 432 Ena Road. The concert will begin on Saturday morning and continue for the next 48 hours until Monday morning, beating the current record which is 40 hours.
The event will take place around the clock for two straight days. Food will be available throughout the event from the Divino's kitchen (limited menu after hours) along with ... tea and soft drinks. BYOB for alcohol, beer and wine only please. There will be a prize drawing at the end of the event, everyone attending will be entered.
Also, AHHA - The Affordable Housing and Homeless Alliance - will be there accepting donations and promoting plans to end Hawaii's Chronic Homelessness. A portion of the ticket price will go to supporting AHHA.
And the concert will be partially sponsored by the Waikiki Wine Closet, opening it's doors in August, the Wine Closet will be offering discounts and specials to all ticket holders leading up to and throughout the event.
